AEON Financial Service Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Tomoharu Miyama), which operates the smartphone payment service "AEON Pay," has appointed Taiyo Sugiura, Nozomi Tsuji, and Sora Tsuji as its new commercial characters. This marks the first time that the three, affectionately known as the "Sugiura Family," have all been appointed as commercial characters.
To commemorate this appointment, they appeared at the "42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER" held on Saturday, March 14, 2026. This was also the first time that all three family members appeared together at an event.
We spoke to her in a press conference about the background of her appointment as the new CM character and her thoughts on her first appearance at TGC.
The new commercial is scheduled to begin airing nationwide sequentially from Friday, April 10, 2026.

■Please tell us your honest feelings when all three of you were chosen to appear in the commercial.

Tsuji: When we first heard about this commercial shoot, our honest reaction was "Yes!" and we all pumped our fists in the air. It doesn't feel particularly strange to us, but this is the first time the three of us have appeared together in public, and on top of that, it's on such a big stage as TGC. We are truly happy to have been given such a big job as "AEON Pay."

Sugiura: Since Nozomi made her debut, we haven't had many opportunities to perform together as a family of three, so I was happy when it was decided. It's the same arrangement of our houses as usual, but it feels fresh.

Nozomi: Up until now I've always worked on my own, but I've always wanted to work with my dad and mom, so I feel like, "Finally!"

■Please tell us the key points of your TGC outfit.

Sugiura: This outfit is unified with pink, but with a touch of white for a touch of elegance. Since I'm a dad, I went for a casual look that I imagined would be perfect for "AEON Pay."

Nozomi: I wanted to show off my youth, so I chose a miniskirt.

Tsuji: I actually wanted to wear Nozomi's costume, but I had to give the miniskirt to my daughter, so I made the skirt longer, but I kept the old-fashioned idol feel from the shoulders to the chest. As for the hairstyle, Nozomi and I competed over whether to wear a ponytail, but I won outright (laughs).

Nozomi: I wanted to wear a ponytail, but I gave it to my mom (laughs).

■What moments do you find most enjoyable when spending time with your family?

Nozomi: I like being in the living room the most. Dinner time is when all my siblings, my parents, and I are together, and the whole family gathers in the living room for dinner. I feel the happiest at that time because we can talk about all sorts of things. If I were to start my own family, I would want lots of children too, since I myself come from a lively family of five siblings. I would like to have at least three.

Tsuji: I have my own room, but everyone stays in the living room. In particular, Nozomi's room seems to be just a place to sleep.

Nozomi: I've been in the living room the whole time.

Sugiura: Nozomi has been talking non-stop in the living room (laughs).

■Please tell us about your future dreams.

Nozomi: I have a dream of performing my mom's songs and dances together with her on a big stage, so I hope that dream can come true someday.

Sugiura: Are you forming a unit as a parent and child?

Tsuji: It's a dream of mine too. When I turn 40 and Nozomi turns 20, we've been talking for a while about how nice it would be to do something together for our coming-of-age ceremonies. Dad will be there cheering us on from the front row (laughs).

Sugiura: That's something my dad would like to see too.

Tsuji: Right now, Nozomi and I are competing with our member colors. Nozomi's is dark pink, and mine is light pink. None of the adults are doing anything, but Nozomi and I are having a blast (laughs).

■Please tell us what you would like to do with your whole family in the future.

Tsuji: I'd love to have a wedding ceremony. We had a small one when Nozomi was in my belly, so I'd love to one day rent the TGC stage, wear a dress and tuxedo, and have the kids toddle along behind me, like a wedding ceremony with all seven of us in the family.
