◆『Body SearchWhat I kept in mind when writing

The character I played, Hiiragi Rumiko, was a lone wolf, but once she opened up to her friends, she was very caring. Rumiko and I have a lot in common, so I didn't have any trouble getting into character. During filming, I was always thinking about how to get along with not only the other cast members, but also the staff. I believe that filming in an awkward atmosphere would not result in a good film. With that in mind, I proactively spoke to my co-stars and staff, making filming fun. As a result, scenes like the one where the six actors play at the beach were filled with really natural smiles, and turned out to be very good. I hope that this film will not only be a horror film, but also feature scenes of student-like youth, as well as Ado's charming insert song.

◆What is the appeal of being an actress?

Previously, I played the role of a person suffering from depression. By playing that role, I was able to raise awareness among many people that there are people who suffer from depression. That kind of ability to communicate is what makes acting so appealing. At times in my work, I sometimes lose sight of myself and find it difficult because I'm playing someone else. At times like these, it's encouraging to know that there are fans waiting for me. I'd be happy if people who watch my work think the action is amazing, or that they like the characters, or something like that.

◆Please give us a message for the students.

First, think about what you want to do. Then, cherish people you can trust wholeheartedly. I also hope you will become a considerate person who is always thinking about others, wondering why they think the way they do.
