After all, our daily lives shape who we are, so I try to keep them organized no matter how little time I have. I also don't compare myself to others. I think many people have experienced comparing themselves to others and feeling self-conscious. But that only lowers your motivation and doesn't do you any good. Everyone has their own pace in everything, so as long as you can work hard at your own pace, there's no need to compare yourself to others. I think it's especially important to take a good look at yourself when you're busy. I believe that if you can learn to cheer yourself up, life will be more enjoyable and meaningful.

It is true of any job, not just acting, but I believe that the most satisfying part of the job is not consistently achieving the ideal goal that I am looking for. 

It is exactly how I used to act when I first debuted, thinking that the goal of my job was to finish acting in one piece of film. However, films have an influence only after the finishing of the shooting. I now believe that finishing a film is not the goal but that the goal changes occasionally. I think I can work hard every day towards a much farther away goal, which motivates me to keep working hard. 

■Be honest to yourself – be “life-size.” 

It isn't easy to stay true to yourself when involved with many people. This is because it is normal for people to feel various emotions when interacting with others. Also, I think that when people work on things more seriously, many emotions will come out actively. More specifically, it is essential to understand one's personality. If you know how you feel in any situation, you will be able to control your emotions. It is a way to be honest with your feelings, not to hide your emotions from people. When I was a teenager and in my twenties, I was too emotional, and many things didn't go well. But everyone, it's okay to be more honest with yourself. If you look back at yourself objectively afterward, it will lead to new discoveries and growth and give you a chance to understand yourself more deeply. 

■Daily life shapes who you are.
