Diana Golden Proportion Award National Competition

Diana Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Mitsutaka Tokuda), a comprehensive consulting company for creating perfect proportions, held the Diana Golden Proportion Award National Convention 2022, one of Japan's largest beauty festivals, in person for the first time in three years at Yokohama Arena on September 10, 2022.

The Diana Golden Proportion Award 2022 is one of the largest beauty festivals in Japan, hosted by the Japan Proportion Association.
The national finals of two contests, the 33rd Age-Based Golden Proportion Contest*1 and the 8th Age-Based D-Style Contest*2, which were established in 1990 as Japan's first age-based contests, were held at Yokohama Arena.
A total of 125 contestants from age groups of 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and over 60 will be selected from all nine regional finals, and one grand prize winner will be selected from each contest.

Due to the spread of COVID-3, this awards event was held online without an audience in 2020 and 2021, but this year it was held at Yokohama Arena with an audience for the first time in three years.

We spoke to the two Grand Prix winners.

*1 A beauty contest for women who have achieved their ideal figure within one year of starting Diana body shape training.
*2 A beauty contest for women who continue to refine the beautiful proportions they achieved through Diana.

How do you feel now that you've won the award?
I am honestly very happy. It has been nine months since I started using Diana, and it feels like a miracle that I have changed so much.

Looking back, my thoughts on Diana
I'm not the type of person who has trouble taking the first step, but once I've made up my mind, I can stick with it until the end. From then on, I used Diana's tools and continued the massage every day, and I was able to successfully lose weight in a fun way. I feel so grateful to Diana!

What made you decide to take on the challenge? What did you pay attention to?
I have four children, and I was repeatedly pregnant, breastfed, and losing weight. Because of this, I longed to be like the person I was when I was thin. In the past, I used to make self-deprecating jokes about my body, but at the same time, I felt frustrated and wanted to get revenge.
The reason I chose Diana was because of the recommendation of my introducer, but the support of my chief was a big factor in making the challenge enjoyable. I'm glad I was able to continue without quitting.
I'm lazy, so instead of forcing myself to exercise, I focused on my diet.
They were especially careful about nutritional balance. I'm not good at cooking, but the chef taught me delicious ways to eat and menus.

Message to university students
I hope you will start working on building a healthy body now for the future.
I have a son who is a university student, and he worked hard alongside me as I prepared for the tournament.
College students are easily influenced by their surroundings, so I hope they will not sacrifice their current health but instead focus on building a body for the future.

How do you feel now that you've won the award?
I had given up hope because my name wasn't mentioned in the announcement of the winners, but I never expected to be selected as the Grand Prix winner. I'm grateful to everyone on the team. Frankly, I'm very happy.

Looking back, my thoughts on Diana
Using Diana's tools in the correct way really makes a difference. It was a fun diet. I'm so grateful to Diana.

What made you decide to take on the challenge? What did you pay attention to?
At first, dieting was tough. However, I was happy to see the changes as I gradually lost weight, and I started to enjoy going to the salon. There were times when I ended up gaining the weight back, but the chief didn't give up on me and encouraged me, so I was able to keep trying again. During my diet, I used a nutritional supplement called Celdia. My family also took Celdia, so we all got good nutrition without having to worry about it.

Message to university students
I have been working hard, thinking, "I will do my best today." Rather than thinking that you have to do it, I think it is best to first challenge yourself with the mindset of "I will do my best today" and continue doing it.
