■After the stage

I was nervous because the large venue of Yoyogi National Gymnasium No. 1 with an audience was different from watching through a screen. However, from this time onwards, it was okay to sing out loud, so I was able to hear everyone's voices and smiles directly, which warmed my heart.
I was also happy to receive messages on social media from fans who were watching the online broadcast.
The other day, I held my first fan event, HOMiiiY EVENT 2023, and I was able to show a different side of myself, which I think people were pleased with.

■ What is the existence of fans?

During my high school days, I had a variety of part-time jobs. Through those experiences, I truly felt that I loved working. Even now, with the support of my manager and many staff members, I am enjoying my work as a model and actress.
However, there are times when I hit an insurmountable wall and feel like giving up or getting depressed. But the presence of my fans is a huge factor in allowing me to keep trying even when times like that happen. They acknowledge the negative aspects of me by saying they like me, or tell me things like, "I don't know what I'd do if you quit, Ho-chan," and that really supports me. Even when I'm faced with a wall so high I want to give up, the smallest words from my fans motivate me and make me want to keep trying.
My fans are indispensable to me. I try to express my gratitude to them every day during my live streams, but it still doesn't seem enough to me.

■ Future dreams and challenges you would like to take on

I want to continue using social media and live streaming, being conscious of getting closer to my fans and making them think, "Let's work hard together!"
In terms of work, I would like to appear in movies and dramas in the future, and I would like to try various things. For example, I would like to try playing a slightly unusual role, such as a madman. (laughs)
I've played a similar role before, and not only did I enjoy filming, but I also learned a lot about creating a work, starting with character development. Unlike a normal role, the process of thinking about it more than usual was interesting, so I'd like to do it again in the future!

■Message to university students

First of all, I want you to have fun! I also want you to make friends with lots of people and get to know lots of people. There are people who want to become university students but can't. I think it's also a happy thing if you don't want to do it. I know studying is hard, but I want you to enjoy your student life to the fullest.
