"ASICS RUN TOKYO MARUNOUCHI" media experience event

ASICS Japan Corporation (hereinafter referred to as ASICS) is located in Marunouchi, Tokyo."ASICS RUN TOKYO MARUNOUCHI"was reopened on Friday, August 25th.
The newly renovated ASICS RUN TOKYO MARUNOUCHI is a running station that embodies a "running ecosystem" that helps runners improve their mental and physical condition and leads to improved performance.
The "Running Ecosystem" is a circulatory system that provides everything runners need to improve their performance, from registering for a running event to the day of the event and post-event care, for everyone from casual runners to serious runners, and even runners who have never participated in a running event before.

Prior to the opening, we toured the facility and took on the challenge of running while enjoying the night view of Tokyo from the Imperial Palace.

■ Impressions of the facility
In addition to purchasing sports equipment, there were various services available to support running. I was particularly surprised to find that they offered access to machines used by professional runners to measure foot shape and running form at a low price!
Furthermore, based on the measurement results, they can recommend the right shoes for you, so you can start preparing for your run with peace of mind! The shoes that the staff actually chose for me were highly cushioned, easy to run in, and perfect for me!

Impressions from the Imperial Palace run
The "ASICS RUN TOKYO MARUNOUCHI" running event had a wide range of detailed levels, from complete walking for beginners to high-speed long courses for professionals!
For this Imperial Palace run, I ran a 3.5km course for beginners! The speed was just fast enough that I could keep up with other runners and enjoy chatting with them while completing the course! What's more, the shower facilities afterwards were great! Here, you don't need to bring your own clothing or shoes, so it's really easy to get started, and I thought I'd try starting once a month.

The system, which allows you to view your running style from multiple angles using cameras from four directions, is recommended for everyone from athletes looking to improve their time to beginners looking to develop a form that will help them avoid fatigue. Furthermore, everything from shoes to running clothes is provided, so it's very appealing to be able to enjoy running without having to bring anything with you.
Another attractive feature is that they can help you choose the perfect shoes for you based on your running style, so anyone from beginners to experts can choose their shoes with confidence.

Impressions from the Imperial Palace run
It had been since high school that I'd run more than a kilometer, and I was on the verge of oxygen deprivation after 1.5km. This course was about 3km, and I was worried about my stamina and the risk of injury. However, thanks to the beautiful view of the Imperial Palace and the skyscrapers at night, and the excellent cushioning of my ASICS shoes that allowed me to run lightly even on hard ground, I was able to complete the run, having fun and without injury.
With this in mind, I'm going to start running.

■ Impressions of the facility
The latest ASICS apparel and shoes are on display, and you can even rent shoes before they're released. The highlight is the ASICS RUNNING LAB, which uses specialized equipment to measure your overall running ability. Your running motion is filmed from four directions and the data is analyzed using AI. You can also get a free 4D measurement of your foot shape and receive advice on your running form.
I think this facility is recommended not only for professionals but also for beginners to running.

Impressions from the Imperial Palace run
There are three running courses, and I chose the beginner course. Thanks to the rental shoes and clothing recommended by the staff, I was able to run comfortably. The shoes' rebound and cushioning were particularly excellent, and I was impressed by how easy it was to run in, unlike anything I've ever experienced before!
It was so refreshing to run while looking at the night view of Tokyo and the Imperial Palace, and the sense of accomplishment outweighed the fatigue. The scenery seems to change considerably depending on the season, so I'd like to participate again with a friend.
