■After the stage

When asked about TGC, the first word that comes to mind is "fun." The lifting of restrictions on shouting meant we could hear the cheers live, making the event feel even more immersive. It's a rare opportunity to hear the fans' voices in person, so I'm very grateful for the opportunity to appear. The fashion has also changed since the last event to reflect autumn and winter, so I hope you'll pay attention to the changes. It's rare to see so many amazing people gathered in one place, and you'll get to see the latest cutting-edge fashion. It's a major event in the Japanese fashion industry, so I hope you enjoy it.

■ What makes the job rewarding?

Recently, I've been getting more opportunities to work on video. Unlike modeling, video work involves working with the actors over a long period of time to create a work, so I feel a strong connection with the people. Even after filming is over, it motivates me to work hard so that I can meet them again for work, and I think it creates a good cycle within me.
I think that the moment when you live as someone other than yourself is something you can only experience in acting. Every day is fresh, as I speak lines that don't come out naturally to me, and sometimes I even shed tears. That's what makes it difficult, but it's also rewarding.
This time I am appearing inThe best teacher. A year later, I was ◾️ed by my students." is not a work that can be done by one person, but by 29 classmates and teachers, so I tried to be conscious of living as a student in Class 3-D rather than as Ikuta Yayoi. We spent several hours shooting the classroom scenes every day, and instead of delivering the lines at my own pace, I made sure to pay attention to the tempo with the other students.

■ Future dreams and prospects

After auditioning for a movie, I decided to pursue a career in acting, but at first I was constantly frustrated. My only experience was as a model, so I realized I didn't know anything. However, I used that frustration as motivation to work hard, and now I enjoy my work, so I want to continue to work in a variety of different fields.
I would like to actively challenge myself in other areas such as modeling, acting, and variety shows, without being confined to one box, if the opportunity arises.

■Message to university students

When you become a university student, you will have to do things by yourself that your parents and teachers used to do for you. You will probably be extremely busy with things like planning your course list, working part-time, and job hunting.
I think just being a student is a great thing, so praise yourself a lot and give yourself a treat every now and then. Don't get too worked up, and when you do work, do your best to give 100% of what you can.
