East Japan Railway Company (hereinafter referred to as JR East) has launched a new service for the JR East Group's common point service, JRE POINT.JRE POINT Stagewill start on October 1st. On September 26th, a launch event was held on the JRE POINT Stage in Tokyo, attended by Rika Adachi, Panther (Ryotaro Suga, Satoshi Mukai, Takahiro Ogata), and Ayako Suzuki (train-loving talent/YouTuber).

At the event, a ceremony to appoint one-day PR ambassadors was held on the JRE POINT stage. Adachi and the Panther members, who wore JR East uniforms and happi coats, were presented with letters of appointment as one-day PR ambassadors by Deputy Chief Takeshima.

Ogata said, "I'm so happy! I'll turn left! Thank you!" as he gestured to imitate a station attendant, and Adachi said with a wry smile, "I feel a bit uncomfortable being dressed the same as Ogata...", but the two of them posed together in a friendly manner like station attendants, saying, "All aboard, thank you!"

Adachi, who got married this year, was asked about places she would like to go with her husband and said, "Right now, 'Amachan' (the morning drama she stars in) is being rebroadcast, so we're watching it together. I'd like to go to Iwate Prefecture, one of the settings for the drama, and do a pilgrimage to the holy land."

Ogata, who is from Miyagi Prefecture, expressed his gratitude to JR East, saying, "The Tohoku Shinkansen is really easy to ride and moves smoothly! It's really surprising! I love it because I can get there from Tokyo in no time!"

Suga said with a laugh, "I went to high school in Itabashi, so I'd like to make a pilgrimage to my own holy land using the Saikyo Line." Mukai, who is a regular on several radio shows, revealed his routine, saying, "I often travel to come up with topics for my talks. The other day, I took the train to Echigo Yuzawa and Niigata. I think about what to talk about there."

JRE POINT StageIn connection with this, there was lively talk about points. Adachi said, "I love saving up points because it feels like a good deal. I want to use my points in a good way," and Suga also got everyone laughing by saying, "In addition to points for shopping, I also save points in my heart on a daily basis. Even at events like today where no one is laughing, I'm fine because I've been saving up experience stages."

Mukai, touching on Yoshimoto Kogyo's theory that "if you become the winner of a comedy award race, you can ride in the green car of the Shinkansen," declared, "If you collect points on the JRE POINT stage, you can ride in the green car. That means if you collect points, you'll be the same as the winner. If you'll be treated the same as the champion, then you just have to collect them!" Ogata also loudly proclaimed, "I love points too! I now love the 'po' in 'points' itself!"

In the second half of the event, Suzuki, a train-loving entertainer with over 100 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, asked questions about the JRE POINT stage. Questions included that it is possible to accumulate JRE POINTS with Suica, that the special offer for a service that offers round-trip Shinkansen tickets is called "Somewhere Woooon!", and that the name of the cruise train operated by JR East is "TRAIN SUITE Shiki-shima."

The event was a huge success, with one laugh after another. At the end of the day, Suzuki said, "As a train fan, I've been looking forward to the start of the JRE POINT Stage. I want to save up lots of points so I can continue on the Premium Stage," Ogata said, "I want to continue walking this path with JR East!", Suga said, "This is the start of a great service, so I want to keep saving points, including mental points," Mukai said, "I lost the quiz, so I want to aim for the Premium Stage in terms of points!", and Adachi said, "I want to aim for the Premium Stage on the JRE POINT Stage and get a Premium Thank You there too," and each of them was excited about the start of the service on October 1st.
