◆How did you feel when you were chosen to appear?

This was my first time appearing in a film directed by Harada, and I was actually quite nervous. I had heard that the director was a strict person (laughs). However,"BAD LANDS"I was convinced that this would be a new step for me, so I decided to take it on.
First, I met with the director and we had a thorough discussion to make sure there were no discrepancies between the Neri I wanted to play and the image he had for her. The characters around Neri have strong personalities, so I wanted to play a protagonist who leaves a weak impression. At the same time, I wanted to play a character that would leave a lasting impression on viewers after watching the film. In this film, the characters do bad things, but I want people to see how they live their lives, rather than questioning whether they are good or bad.

◆Please tell us about your student days.

I don't think I was a good student, but I did what I could only do at the time, regardless of what others thought. After entering university, I studied acting and began appearing on stage and in films. I spent my days studying for auditions, filming, and workshops. However, I was feeling frustrated because I didn't know how to study.

◆Message to students

I haven't yet established a method for studying or expressing myself, and I'm always searching for ways to improve. I don't have a set goal, but I want to become someone who exceeds my own imagination. I don't think it's necessary for the goals that your school expects you to have to match up with what you have in mind.
