38th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 SPRING/SUMMER ~Kanon~

March 2, 2024 (Saturday) at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium38th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 SPRING/SUMMER' was held.
The theme of this edition is "A Profusion of Flowers." The moment when all the flowers bloom together is a dreamlike moment that also harbors a sense of transience. With the arrival of spring, we spoke to model and actress Kanon, one of the many splendid performers at Mynavi TGC 2024 S/S.

■After the TGC stage

The location of TGC this time, Yoyogi/Harajuku, is a spot I often visit myself, so I felt a sense of familiarity with it. I was also happy to be able to walk the runway on such a big stage. It was beautiful to see so many customers waving their fans and penlights, and I felt a strong sense of unity with everyone, which made me think, "TGC is something that we all create together, after all."

■ What made you start working?

When I saw the dazzling figures of the models walking down the runway, I thought, "I want to be like that," and that's what got me started in this job. I was so happy that I was able to do what I love as a job. When I walk down the runway, I feel so dazzled. The fans who always support me are like a warm family to me. They are important people who support me. I want to continue to be someone who can effectively communicate to everyone what I think is good, and in order to live up to everyone's expectations, I want to always be "the person I love."

■What is important to you when working?

When I'm working, I try to set clear goals for myself, like "This is what I want to do!" and work towards them. Sometimes I lose motivation, but at those times I keep my spirits up by listening to my favorite music or setting a reward for myself, like "If I get this far, I'll eat something I like." In the future, as an actress, I would like to take on roles I've never played before, including cool roles. I also usually post videos of me playing the drums on my social media, and I hope to do a session with someone someday.

■Message to university students

I'm currently a university student myself, and I've always found it difficult to balance studying with other pursuits. However, if you love something so much that you can't choose, your efforts won't be in vain. I think that praising yourself for your hard work will help you reach the next level, so I hope you'll keep a positive attitude, reward yourself a lot, and balance your studies with the things you love.
