38th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 SPRING/SUMMER ~Nicole Fujita~

March 2, 2024 (Saturday) at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium38th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2024 SPRING/SUMMER' was held.
The theme of this edition is "A Profusion of Flowers." The moment when all the flowers bloom together is a dreamlike moment that also harbors a sense of transience. With the arrival of spring, Mynavi TGC 2024 S/S welcomed a diverse and impressive lineup, and we spoke to model Nicole Fujita.

■After TGC

TGC keeps up with the latest fashion trends, so just coming to see it will put you in a fashionable mindset. It's a must-see for fashion lovers.
I have experienced this many times before, but this time I am working on my own brand,CALNAMURI did a show for "Carnamour" so I think it was a different TGC than usual. When I'm performing I always try to make the clothes look beautiful, but this time I was so concerned about whether the clothes and hair and makeup of the models appearing for my brand were cute that I couldn't focus on myself. I was so busy behind the scenes that I suddenly remembered, "Oh, I'm going to be performing too!" and got really nervous (laughs). But it was all worth it, and I was happy that I was able to put together a really cute show in the end.

■About the job

I am able to work hard every day thanks to my fans. I believe this job wouldn't be possible without them, so it scares me to think what it would be like if they weren't there. I think it's because of the support of my fans that I'm able to rediscover my own worth. Many of them have been supporting me for a long time, and I consider them to be reassuring friends who I can grow with.
Something that has always been important to me is to properly interact with each and every one of my fans. Even now that I'm famous, I haven't changed this stance. Even now, I try to arrange an opportunity to meet in person at least once every six months.
Also, I always want to surprise my fans, and I'm always thinking about how many times I can surprise them in a year. Doing the same thing over and over can get boring, so I plan events and try new work to get everyone excited. I also value the sense of distance. I want to be someone people look up to, but I also want to be someone who is close to them, like a friend.

■ Future outlook

I won't be taking on any new challenges this year (lol)! That's because I've tried my hand at a variety of genres up until now, such as apparel and cosmetics. However, I've gone too far. If I neglect what I've been doing, the things I've worked so hard to start will end up half-finished, so from now on, I want to carefully re-evaluate the things I'm currently working on.

■ Message

Students are in a generation where their environment will change rapidly as they graduate and start new lives. However, I hope you don't compare yourself too much to those around you and do what you want to do. I hope you will face yourself and take a new step forward.
