Youth Future Co-creation Meeting vol.3 held

On August 2, 2024, "Youth Future Co-creation Meeting vol.3" was held, sponsored by Y COMPANY LLC (headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo, representative partner: Orzuguru) and co-sponsored by Unique Co., Ltd. and the Youth Career Education Organization.
This is an invitation-only, reservation-only event aimed at those involved in education and youth support, and young people who wish to receive support, with the concept of "co-creating the future of young people."
The first half of the event was a pitch presentation by seven young people, and the second half was a networking event, where people with various backgrounds could network with each other and find new co-creators. Student newspaper interns also had the opportunity to participate in this lively event.

■ Greetings from Mr. Susumu Otsuki, Secretary General of Youth Future Co-creation Conference

The Youth Future Co-creation Meeting was held with the hope that it would be a starting point for young people who are still nobody. In the future, I would like to start my own company by supporting athletes in their second careers and dual careers. To achieve this, I would like to gain as much experience as possible and build the foundation for creating a business. Talking to many people has given me a lot of inspiration and given me the opportunity to brush up on what I want to do and achieve. The Youth Future Co-creation Meeting will continue in the future. To all the young people who want to do something, achieve something, and break out of who they are now, we will keep moving forward. What will you do?

■From each co-sponsoring company

◇Y COMPANY LLC Representative Orzuguru

Young people are always a society's treasure. In my home country of Uzbekistan, many children are being born, and the country is vibrant. And if you look around the world, the population is continuing to grow.
I have heard from the media that Japan is experiencing a declining birthrate and an aging population, and that there are few young people who believe they can change society.
However, in reality, the young people I meet are full of dreams. Young people are the driving force behind social change. Now is the time for responsible adults to create a society where young people can co-create their dreams.

I think it was a very passionate event. It was very inspiring to see young people my age pitching with such passion. Also, all the adults who participated were seriously thinking about the future of Japan, and I thought it was a really wonderful community.
