Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari captivates the audience with his impressive style in a suit

Actor Arashi's Kazunari Ninomiya appeared at the "SUITS OF THE YEAR 2024" award ceremony held in Tokyo on November 13th. This year marks the 7th time the awards have been held."Stimulate the five senses"Ninomiya won the Arts & Culture category, which is given to people who have moved people through entertainment, and thrilled the audience with his quick wit, ability to talk, and charm.

■ A professional who can impress both himself and his suit

Dressed in a soft grey suit, Ninomiya appeared dashingly, exuding dignity and sexiness. "He has always been at the forefront of the entertainment industry, demonstrating outstanding acting skills in both domestic and international productions. He continues to explore new possibilities for disseminating information, such as by making full use of the internet, including social media, to expand his fan base."Insatiable curiosity"" was praised.

Ninomiya smiles as the camera flashes all over him the moment he takes the stage.

He was very good at dealing with the cameras and flashes that were pointed at him. He was wearing a Paul Stuart suit and posed with his arms crossed so that his LONGINES watch was visible on camera. Whether consciously or unconsciously, he was holding the microphone in his left hand, where he always wears the watch, and holding the award trophy to his chest."How to present yourself"This is probably why they are called "leading the entertainment industry."
"This past year has been full of first-time experiences and trial and error, but I am very happy to receive this award. I hope to receive this award again next year.If I could work with a greedy attitude,” he said.

■ A vivid story about the five senses filled the audience with laughter

During the talk show that followed, stories related to the five senses were shared.
When asked, "Are there any moments when you sharpen your senses and become completely immersed in a game?" Ninomiya replied, "It's easier to remember the lines when you're doing something you love, so rather than being completely immersed in it, I often use it in conjunction with work."Concentrating in a relaxed state, knowing that you are doing what you loveAndThe "moment of zero" to switch to the next taskThey say they cherish it as a precious memory.

Takashi Yamazaki, the film director who won the Innovation category, took the microphone and asked, "You memorize your lines while playing a game?!" to which he joked, "It's different with my own work (laughs).""Try using (Ninomiya)!" (laughs)He made a counteroffer to Ninomiya, and his brilliant response drew applause from the audience. This is how people in the industry are drawn into the "Ninomiya world."

He also had a friendly moment with Kai Sudo of Nature Architects, Inc., who won in the business category, and Daisuke Takahashi, who won in the sports category.
Mr. Sudo spoke passionately about the commonality between science and the five senses, saying, "I'm a technology geek...""He's a maniac (lol) He talks so happily."Takahashi, who was flustered when his name was called twice,"There's only one Takahashi-san (laughs)."Even at such a formal occasion as an awards ceremony, he effortlessly responded and followed up on the situation, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the venue.

The host and the award winners each turned towards each other while speaking.

■ Expressions that stimulate the five senses. What you want to keep in mind is a "subtractive" production

When asked, "It seems like you use different expressions for different situations, such as TV and YouTube. Is there any creative way to do that?" Ninomiya replied, "Ultimately, it's up to the viewers."
"for exampleYamazaki's Godzilla-1.0 is scary, but take away the sound and it looks sad.Without the ambient sounds, Godzilla's voice, and the voices of people fleeing, you start to wonder, "Why is Godzilla roaring?"It's interesting how taking away one of the five senses can lead to a different expression.I feel like the way it reaches people varies depending on who is watching.I want to increase the freedom of expression" I can only take my hat off to Ninomiya's unique sensibility and way of looking at things.

In response, Director Yamazaki said, "That's impressive. When you reach a certain level,How much can you subtract?"The creators want to create a layered expression, and people with keen sensibilities see something different there. I was really impressed by that perspective," Ninomiya said."(The next work) has been decided!!"He made the audience laugh with his clever reply.

Yamazaki also shared an episode of friendly relations behind the scenes, saying, "I love hearing about the directing of great masters, and I just had a personal interview with Ninomiya, who starred in a film directed by Clint Eastwood. It was a great experience to hear about his favorite food." Yamazaki said, "If there's anything you want, please don't turn me down (laughs)," to which Ninomiya replied, "Of course, of course! (laughs)," and we can't wait for the opportunity to see Yamazaki and Ninomiya team up again.

■Sports are the best way to share emotions

Ninomiya says that the moment he is most moved is when he is exposed to the power of sports. "Sports can take you to a place even if you haven't experienced the same hardships or struggles. For example, at Koshien, I can cry with the players even though I've never attended that high school.Being able to share that excitement is a unique power of sports.I think so," he said, revealing a glimpse of his childhood baseball days.

■To the next stage

When asked by the press, "Is there anything you would like to ask the other four people on this occasion?""How would you like to use Ninomiya in your respective areas of expertise?"He drew everyone into a swirl of conversation, saying, "I'd love to work in any field (Takano)," "I'm often involved in car design, so I'd love to see someone looking cool behind the wheel of a car (Sudo)," "You're someone who can play any role, both dark and light, so I'd love to work on a project together (Yamazaki)," and "I create opportunities for actors to act on ice, so I'd love to (Takahashi)." Hopes are high that Ninomiya's "insatiable curiosity" will one day lead to this collaboration coming to fruition, stimulating our senses once again.
