◆Have you ever felt that you have grown as an actor?
In high school, I was a member of the dance club. I would enjoy practicing every day for events like school festivals. It was around that time that I auditioned for Nogizaka46, passed, and began my path as an idol.
At first, I wasn't particularly interested in acting, but as I gained more experience, I began to realize the joy of creating a work. On set, professionals from various fields come together as a team to create a work. Then the finished work is released and reaches many people. I began to think that this process is wonderful.
When I say "preparing for a role," I mean memorizing the lines and understanding the flow beforehand. The finer details are worked out on set. I believe that once the director gives the "OK," that's the right answer.
◆The Boy and the Dog moviePlease tell me about
When I first read the script, I was excited at the same time as I felt that it would be difficult. Miu may seem pitiful, but she is just an ordinary girl you could find anywhere. This story would not begin without Tamon, a dog. The story carefully depicts how a dog connects people and builds relationships of trust. I hope you will enjoy the process.
◆Message to students
Personally, when choosing between the easy path and the difficult path, I choose the difficult one. This is because I feel that there are more opportunities when you take on challenges amidst difficulties. Also, please make sure to cherish your friends. Even difficult experiences will surely become funny stories later on. It is important to have friends with whom you can laugh.

■After the interview
Just as she appears on screen, she is a wonderful person with a gentle smile and a modest yet definite presence. During the interview, I was able to get a glimpse of Nishino's thoughts and feelings, which further deepened my appreciation for her.
