"New Tobu Card" presentation and ambassador inauguration commemorative event

Tobu Marketing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Suzuki Kumano) will hold an event at the Tokyo Skytree East Tower (Sumida-ku, Tokyo) on Thursday, April 3rd.New Tobu Card" presentation and ambassador appointment commemorative event was held.
To mark the 40th anniversary of the birth of the Tobu Card, a new "Tobu Card" with the theme of "Stylish & Powerful" will begin to be issued from Thursday, May 29th.
Guests at the event included Yuichiro Matsushita, a talent and fitness model who has been appointed as the official ambassador, and talent Shinji Takeda, who appeared as a muscle support guest.

The new Tobu Card has been in the works for six years, with three years of planning and three years of actual preparation. Tobu Points launched in November 2020, so preparations for the Tobu Card began behind the scenes even before the Tobu Points program began. The concept we decided on back then was "Stylish & Powerful." This meant a stylish design featuring the Skytree on a vertical card, and we decided to offer the highest possible point redemption rate.

Matsushita: "Tobu Card's theme this time was 'Stylish & Powerful,' which is why I was asked to appear in the commercial. I actually lost 15 kilos in preparation for filming this commercial, and when I saw the unedited footage, I thought the bulging muscles were pretty impressive, but after they edited it, they softened them considerably, which made me feel quite honored. The Tobu Card is a truly attractive and powerful card, so I want to work hard to share its appeal with as many people as possible!"

Matsushita: "I avoid fatty foods and steadily train for 1-2 hours every day."

Takeda: "I think that by incorporating the things you want to do and the things you want to do into your daily life and enjoying them, you can become a stylish and powerful person."

Takeda: "Until now, I didn't really understand anything about points or cards, but I've learned a lot. I'm looking forward to using this Tobu Card to accumulate points and live an even more enjoyable and fulfilling life!"
