40th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 SPRING/SUMMER ~Artist HANA~

The 40th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 SPRING/SUMMER was held at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The theme for this year's event was "HERE WE GO!" Celebrating its 20th anniversary, TGC is taking a new step towards the future. We spoke with members of the seven-member idol group HANA, one of the many stellar performers at Mynavi TGC 2025 S/S, which welcomed the arrival of spring.

■What mindset do you value when performing?

YURI: I always try to perform with the thought that "all the audience members are on my side."

CHICA: It's the spirit of having fun. If we're not having fun, the customers won't get to experience that fun. And we all always share that feeling of enjoyment.

MOMOKA: I try to make myself nervous. Even if I'm not nervous, I tell myself that I am and motivate myself. That energy helps me to enjoy even the tension.

■What was the best thing you did when you were a student?

MONTHLY: I'm still in school, but I studied hard when I was in junior high school, so I think that my attitude of making plans and studying is still useful to me today.

YURI: I tried to steal the good parts of the people and artists around me. At the time, I even had a burning rivalry with Mariah Carey's songs (laughs). But I'm glad I had that passion.

MORE OR LESS: Ever since I was little, my mother told me to write my diary and schedule in a planner, and I've continued to do so. Thanks to that, I've become better at managing my schedule, and more than anything, keeping a diary has made me better at self-analysis.

■Please give a message to students who are about to achieve their dreams.

YURI: You all once told me, "It's important to work hard, but it's also important to look back at your past self," and those words have stayed with me deeply. I want to convey those words to you all.

KOHARU: I think chasing your dreams is really hard. There may be times when you wonder, "Why am I trying so hard?" But it's never a waste. There's a line in Chanmina's song "PAIN IS BEAUTY" that goes, "Pain is beautiful, it made me beautiful," and I really think that's true.

MORE OR LESS: I'm sure there will be many times when it becomes difficult. But please make sure to praise yourself for what you have done. The more you do this, the more it will become an effort, and it will come back to you someday.

JISOOI love the saying, "If you try until you can, you can." It may be hard to make your dreams come true, but I hope everyone will not give up until they do.
