Three-person play "Creators High!!!" ~A story of "manufacturing" depicted by three people~

Three-person play at Theater Sun Mall on October 12, 2025"Creators High!!!"has opened.
A new theatrical project starring Honda Reo and Akazawa Tou, produced by Toei, has begun.
The venues are Theater Sunmall in Tokyo and Ogimachi Museum Cube in Osaka.
This new work is an original three-person play featuring Ryosuke Kato"Creators High!!!".
The story of a production meeting filled with heat and conflict is depicted with passion and humor.
Honda Reo and Akazawa Akari have previously attempted two-person and three-person plays. In September 2022, together with Ouchi Atsuo (theater group Caramel Box), they performed the three-person play "Obsession" (script: Okazaki Satoko/direction: Awashima Mizumaru) at CBGK Shibugeki!!. The slapstick comedy depicting the mysterious interactions between the three characters attracted a lot of attention. In February 2024, they performed the two-person play "Reminiscence [Canon]" (script: Hosaka Yo/direction: Matsuzaki Fumiya). This dense dialogue play, consisting of three dialogues, was performed by switching roles at each performance, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Now, in October 2025, they will take on a new challenge: a three-person play. It is a passionate story of creation, as they reexamine the meaning of creation while being tossed about in the huge project of "adapting an unfinished original work into an anime." An editor who wants to "protect" the original work, a screenwriter who wants to "surpass" the original work, and a producer caught in the middle. Just three people create one "story."
We covered the public dress rehearsal that was held on October 11th, prior to the opening day.

A meeting room where three people's beliefs intersect - Student theater report
Even though the set remained almost the same in the limited space of a conference room, the words and movements of the three actors allowed the scene to expand. It was fascinating to feel how this stimulated our imaginations.
I was drawn in by the way each of them stuck to their own positions and beliefs, passionately clashing with the goal of adapting an unfinished manga into an anime. Should they protect the original work or prioritize commercial success? The story depicts the three characters' different passions, and it was fascinating to watch while thinking, "What would I do?"
It was clear that the three actors were truly enjoying acting, and their well-coordinated dialogue was very impressive. It was a beautiful and memorable story that portrayed the difficulty of making something, the sensitivity of people who face the process of creating, and the process of coming together after going through conflict.

I was captivated from the very beginning by the well-coordinated dialogue between the three actors and the good tempo.
They seemed to be in sync with each other as they exchanged words, and it was very natural, and it seemed as if the relationship between the three of them was blended directly onto the stage.
What was particularly impressive was the scene where they expressed "water falling" just by looking at the audience. I was amazed that even without the help of lighting or sound, everyone's acting alone made it seem like the water was really there.
The three have a deep love for the original manga characters and cherish what they believe in. Although there are moments when their beliefs clash, the process of them coming together towards the common goal of "animation" was a very warm performance that gave a glimpse of the trust and bond that exists between the actors.
In the scene where the original manga was recreated, I couldn't help but laugh at the ingenuity with which they used everyday objects found in the room to express the characters and even the movement of the wind. It was so realistic and interesting that it made me wonder if creators really were creating their works like this somewhere in the real world!
Some people may have a slightly stiff impression when they hear the term "dialogue drama," but strangely enough, even in scenes with long lines of dialogue, this production never felt stuffy, and I never got bored watching it! It's a play that you can enjoy right up to the very last moment!
I sincerely hope that we can make it to the final performance without anyone missing!
