<Comments from the cast>

[Naoki Nanasawa: Mizuki Umezu]
I've had a lot of falls so far.
I often have dreams about slipping down the stairs, failing the school of my choice, falling off a horse, failing a part-time job interview, or falling from something.
Falling is the key word in the play "Fall Point," as Nanasawa falls into various forms of despair.
We ask all audience members to please prepare a parachute in your heart.

[The role of Ubuki Anna: Hanayagi Nozomi]
Life is a series of choices, but this production is truly a stage where "the choices you make change the story." What is justice for one person may not be justice for another... I hope you will enjoy this fluctuation together.
There were many things I tried for the first time this time, and I faced them while asking myself every day, "Can I do this?" I hope you will receive each moment I spent facing them head on.
It's a story you can relive over and over again. Come and get swept up in it.

[Tomo Yanagishita plays the role of Sogo Kinjo]
I believe this play is one that asks us "what to believe and what to choose" as reality and virtuality fluctuate.
While playing Nishikijo, I often empathized with the vulnerability and loneliness he harbors deep inside, rather than just his superficial strength.
When people are cornered, when they face their limits, when they are faced with an opponent they cannot resist, what will they choose?
I want to cherish every moment of that pain and struggle.
Come to the theater and experience the tension and excitement.

[The role of Nishikijo Karin: Miho Imamura]
Your emotional barometer will go through the roof, and by the end, you'll feel like lightning is running through your body and your eyes are shining brightly. And you'll surely find the essence of bringing more abundance to someone's life.
I think that's what theater is like, and I believe that's the case.
I will do my best to excite you all in a good way, give you the thrill of theatre, and create genuine moments of dignified beauty.

[The role of Hidetoshi Inui: Kei Kato]
It's a challenging piece. That's what makes it interesting. No matter what I ask, Hirose-san will smoothly explain it while incorporating the background setting, and I spent my days exploring and trying to embody the world he has drawn. I couldn't quite get there using my previous methods, so I experimented again and again, trying different things. One day, when someone said that something I did instinctively was a good one, I was happy, but at the same time, I resolved that this was a piece I would continue to challenge.
We take on the challenge every time we perform it. We are sure that the audience will find it entertaining. We look forward to seeing you.

[Written and directed by Hirose Kaku]
We are excited to be able to bring this film to our audience on opening day.
When you look down from a high place, your heart races as you imagine yourself falling. I put that sense of anxiety into the work. "Fall Point" is a story of self-discovery, as if struck by the dizziness of a man who keeps falling. There are some experimental and challenging parts, but I worked carefully with the actors to create a work that doesn't feel that way and is simply enjoyable, and it has the power to draw the audience into this world.
Experience the dizzying sensation of having your feet shaken along with the protagonist.

A captivating piece with an unpredictable plot - A student's theater report

The play "Fall Point" left an impression of depicting the suffocating feelings of modern people like a sharp blade. In particular, the performance of lead actor Umezu Mizuki as Naoki Nanasawa, who is pushed to his limits by the repetition of time, gave the story a sense of urgency.
The actors' expressiveness brought out the painfully real feelings of loneliness and conflict that everyone feels about the parts of themselves that are invisible to society. The sharp lighting and sound that drove the story also created a sense of immersion in the moment. And at the thrilling end, when the whole truth was revealed, the story was so gripping I couldn't take my eyes off it.

It was such an engaging piece that I found myself watching the play with a sense of tension, wondering, "What will happen next?" Nanasawa's character, who rushes ahead with a sense of justice, may be fictional, but I think it's a side of him that we all have somewhere in our hearts. I found myself pondering what would happen if my life were to repeat the same day over and over again.
Just like the key visual for the play "Fall Point," the scene of him falling over and over again and experiencing pain was so painful that even though I was just watching as an audience member, I couldn't take my eyes off it.
Each of Nanasawa's choices is important, some right and some wrong, and the complexities pile up to make this a work that cannot be simply described as a "loop story."
It was a performance that still leaves a strong impression even after it's finished.
