New Beginning Fes ~Five notable acts leading the next generation perform together at a new music festival~

The New Beginning Fes Production Committee will hold the event on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Odaiba Special Venue (inside Fuji Television Wangan Studio)."New Beginning Fes -Open Recording-"(hereinafter referred to as New Beginning Fes) was held.
"New Beginning Fes" was born as a new music festival with the themes of "challenge," "encounter," and "a step toward the future." The name "a new start" is meant to inspire new possibilities and discoveries for all who participate.
This time, five notable acts who are poised to lead the next generation - Lienel, OCTPATH, Panda Dragon, WILD BLUE, and LIL LEAGUE - performed and really got the crowd excited.
The event was hosted by Fuji TV announcer Naofumi Kajitani. The performances of each group, the "New Bigi Battle" and the first ever "New Bigi Stage" all got the crowd excited.
Lienel
The first act to appear was Lienel, who closed the first day of the previous "New Beginning Fes".
The first song was "Choetsu SUMMER de Baka ni Nare," their latest summery song released on August 20th. The venue was instantly filled with a summer festival mood. They then performed "Sin and Punishment," two contrasting songs that captivated the audience, showcasing the wide range of musical styles and the expressiveness and individuality of each of the six members.
During the self-introductions, Takakuwa, the youngest member, was only 15 years old, which caused gasps of surprise from the audience. Afterwards, Kondo's "12-year-old" joke brought laughter to the crowd, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. They then performed a special medley including "Love Me Madly" and "Junjou Syndrome," a familiar song from their live shows, getting the fans involved in the calls and building up the excitement.
To finish, the six members showed off their cuteness in the song "Sekaiichi," and were wonderful until the very end, captivating the audience with their all-out Lienel charm.

OCTPATH
Next up was OCTPATH.
As soon as "WAKE UP" began with Yotsuya's beautiful, resonant voice, the audience was instantly drawn into their world.
Next, the group performed their debut song, "IT'S A BOP." The audience was naturally thrilled, especially during the voice percussion section, where they performed dynamic dance moves that elicited loud cheers from the entire venue.
They then performed "Carnival" and "Hands Up," and the energy in the venue gradually rose to its peak with their powerful performance, filled with sharpness and spirit.
As the intro to "Diary" started playing, the members appeared holding inflatable rings.
This charming and cute performance drew spontaneous cheers from the audience.
"FUN" began with a call and response of the members' names, and their characteristically euphoric performance filled the venue with a warm atmosphere.
Then, for the final song, "Come Alive," the audience came together, waving towels, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement.

New Bigi Battle "Arm Wrestling Strongest Group Tournament"
In keeping with the event title "New Beginning," the "New Beginning Battle" corner, where participants tried new things, featured a "Strongest Arm Wrestling Group Competition."
Representatives from each group competed in a tournament format. It was a simple plan to determine the group with the strongest arm wrestling skills. When it was announced that the winner would receive a trophy and a 5 yen meal voucher for Jojoen, a cheer of "Oh!" erupted from the audience.
The opponents were decided by lottery, and the first round began with high expectations.
The battle between OCTPATH's Kaiho and Lienel's Takakuwa, both 11 years apart in age, ended with Kaiho instantly defeating Takakuwa.
The second round was a showdown between Taiga from Panda Dragon and Iwaki from LIL LEAGUE. Iwaki won.
The third round was between Kaiho from OCTPATH and Yuto Ikeda from WILD BLUE. Kaiho again showed his overwhelming strength in the first round and defeated Ikeda in an instant.
In the finals, OCTPATH's Kaiho and LIL LEAGUE's Iwaki faced off against each other. After a heated battle, Kaiho emerged victorious. Kaiho's victory had the OCTPATH members bursting into smiles and saying, "Let's all do it!"
Thus, the "Strongest Arm Wrestling Group Tournament" came to a close with the entire venue united.

パンダドラゴン
Afterwards, the five-member idol group Panda Dragon, who had a successful performance at Nippon Budokan in March, filled the venue with cheers of "So cute!!"
During the first song, "Maji☆Majinai," they touched on the topic of battles, saying, "It's unfair to be too strong in arm wrestling!", and captured the audience with the adaptability and perfection they have cultivated over many years of activity.
After a brief self-introduction, Taiga muttered, "I can hear the sound of a maiden's tears on Fuji TV..." and the audience erupted in cheers. They then performed "L♡S ~ Surprise!? Love in the Dark♡Sniper ~". They then began "Hot-blooded! Dragon Boot Camp," getting the audience involved in their training as Patchi called out his moves.
During the MC section, Patchi asked, "Is this the first time anyone has done squats at a live concert?" Many people raised their hands and responded with refreshing smiles, "We're so happy! Thank you for giving us this first time!"
They then performed their new summer song, "Kimi Natsu ~Juicy Love~." The five members' refreshing smiles blew away the summer heat.
The final song of the performance was "Pa LIFE! Pa LIKE! Pa LOUGH! Pa LOVE!" (commonly known as Para Para), with the entire venue dancing along to the chorus as the stage came to a close.

WILD BLUE
Next up was WILD BLUE, a five-member boy band led by Yamashita, which was formed last year with the concept of "a group that gives you the courage to live as your heart desires."
It starts with "BOX of DESTINY" which is included in the 1st EP.
"We're here to make it even more exciting! Let's have fun together!" they said, and then performed the opening song "WILD BLUE," which also gives the group its name.
Ikeda Yuto's "First Light" delivered a refined and well-coordinated performance.
They then performed "Bubbles," the theme song for the drama, which is quickly becoming one of their signature songs.
They ended the show with the up-tempo, bouncy number "POP," bringing the venue to a bright and pop mood.

New Bigi Stage (OCTPATH・Lienel)
In keeping with the event title, the "New Beginning Stage" is a special corner where the performing artists will "try something new" and show off the results of their practice.
This time, two groups, OCTPATH and Lienel, are each trying something different and new.

First up was OCTPATH, who took on the challenge of a three-minute "Japanese instrument" stage, performing Yuzu's "Natsuiro."
They appeared in yukata robes and started off with the powerful sounds of Japanese drums and shouts. Furuse's powerful Japanese drum solo drew huge cheers from the audience.
With the addition of shinobue and shamisen instruments, the well-coordinated performance created an atmosphere that felt like an actual summer festival. The performance ended with a powerful shout of "Sei!"
Next up on the New Bigi stage was Lienel.
They took on the challenge of using the "Aliber Poi," a type of juggling tool that looks like a flower when opened.
During practice, he said he struggled with control and even yelled in pain after hitting his head. As the excitement in the audience grew from hearing such anecdotes, the band began with "Shukumei" by Official Hige Dandism, the theme song for the summer high school baseball tournament.
The members themselves created and choreographed this original piece, and after overcoming many obstacles and practicing repeatedly, they performed a beautiful, yet fleeting performance with soft, careful movements.

LIL LEAGUE
The final act was the six-member dance and vocal group LIL LEAGUE.
She appeared wearing a white outfit and performed "Higher" and "Stimulation First Priority."
As the venue was filled with excitement, MC Iwaki further excited the audience by saying, "The stage is so hot because all the great artists from the past have made it so exciting!"
In keeping with the festival's concept of "a new start," they performed their opening song, "Rollah Coaster," captivating the audience with their fresh and energetic performance.
Next up was "Manatsu no Hanabi," released in July of this year. Their ephemeral and beautiful performance was paired with the scenery of fireworks, creating a fantastical stage.
The final song they performed was "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo." The call-and-response Bibbidi-Boo Challenge created a sense of unity with the audience that reached a climax.
Finally, when asked how she would rate today's performance, Momota replied, "Of course, 120 points," which caused the audience to become even more excited, and the performance concluded with a spectacular final dance break.
