41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER - Tsuna Hironaga
The 41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER was held at Saitama Super Arena on Saturday, September 6th, 2025.
The theme for this year's event is "BEYOND TOGETHER." Now that it has reached its 20th anniversary, TGC is embarking on the "next 20 years" of making a new impact on society through co-creation.
With autumn approaching, Mynavi TGC 2025 A/W featured a diverse and impressive lineup of performers, and we spoke to actor Tsuna Hironaga.

■TGC is a sparkling stage
I've had the opportunity to appear at TGC for several years now, and I'm happy to be able to do so again this time. "I'm glad there's still demand for it" (laughs). I want to work hard so that I don't take my appearances for granted. This time too, I went to the sauna the day before to get my appearance in order so that I wouldn't get bloated. I usually work as an actor, so I don't often have the opportunity to meet the audience in person or perform on a glamorous stage. But TGC is a place where I can be seen by many different people, and I think it's a place where I can shine.
■The reward of living many lives in one life
I think the appeal of being an actor is that you can become anything. I wasn't particularly smart when I was a student, but through my roles I've been able to experience things like being a lawyer or a police officer, experiences that I wouldn't have had if I'd continued living my life as usual, so it's fun to be able to live many different lives in one lifetime. Within that, I don't have to think about "how to present myself." When I'm acting as a character, I don't know "who the real me is." I think the person I am in front of my family and friends is my "real self," but conversely, I'm not my real self outside of that. That, and other aspects of it, make it an interesting job.
■ Supporting and being supported by others
One work that left a lasting impression on me was "Love Encouragement," my first time playing the sole lead role in a drama series. Standing at the center of it all, I felt like I learned once again that a work can only be successful if the lead actor puts in the hard work, and only if the people around him support him. Thanks to that, in subsequent works I have made it a point to be conscious of trying to support the lead actor. There are difficult times in my work, but in order to stay positive, all I have to do is always have fun, that's all. Even when there is pressure, as long as I have family and friends who support me, I won't get discouraged. This mindset hasn't changed since I was a student.
In the future, I would like to try playing characters with a dark side. Due to my personality, I often get bright roles, but I would like to show a new side of myself. I'm not yet satisfied with anything as an actor, but I'm already satisfied with my life. I have family and friends, and I'm in a wonderful environment where I can continue working, so I want to continue to cherish that.
■Message to university students
First of all, do your best to graduate from university (laughs). In the process, I want you to do things that only university students can do. Since I entered the workforce, I have had fewer opportunities to meet up with friends, so I especially want you to enjoy being in an environment where you can see them on a daily basis. Also, anyone can do anything if they try. I was not good at memorizing when I was a student, but now I've got the hang of it and it's become easier for me to remember lines. I can't tell you the trick...just kidding (laughs), but I try to concentrate and memorize before going to bed. Often, if you memorize something at night, it will be solidified by morning, so I think it's important to try studying for even just five minutes at night, and make daily accumulations.
And when pursuing your dreams, it's important not to forget the things that you value. In my case, it's my family, friends, and the environment around me. Focus on the things that are important to you, be grateful, and do your best.
