41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER ~Sono Shunta~　

The 41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER was held at Saitama Super Arena on Saturday, September 6th, 2025.
The theme for this year's event is "BEYOND TOGETHER." Now that it has reached its 20th anniversary, TGC is embarking on the "next 20 years" of making a new impact on society through co-creation.
With autumn approaching, Mynavi TGC 2025 A/W featured a diverse and impressive lineup of performers, and we spoke with Sono Shunta, who is also active as a member of the five-member idol group M!LK.

■Thoughts on my first TGC

When it was decided that I would be appearing at TGC, I was very happy because I had also wanted to work as a model. I made sure to create expressions and put on a cool runway look so that I could convey the brand concept.
There are two key points about the outfit. The hat and jeans match, and I have extensions at the nape of my neck. It was my first time ever having extensions at the nape of my neck! It's a distinctive style that I've never had before, with blonde hair and silver extensions, and I also tried out some makeup that I don't usually wear.
Looking back at my first TGC, it went by in a flash.
In preparation for the appearance, I went to the gym and trained to build muscle. I've been avoiding my favorite ramen for a month, so I'm looking forward to eating it soon. (laughs)

■Rewarding work as a member of M!LK

Our main activity as M!LK is live performances, but when people get to know us through our appearances on variety shows and various activities such as YouTube, we feel even more rewarded when they tell us things like, "You made me smile. You supported me. You made me happy." The other day, a child around kindergarten age saw us and told us his dream: "I've started dancing. I want to be an idol," which made me very happy.
Recently, because "Ii Jan" has gone viral, I've been able to appear on various programs, so I want to continue working hard.
M!LK is an irreplaceable presence to me. I hope that by increasing the number of people who get to know M!LK through my acting career, I will be able to give back to M!LK.
Our job is to deliver joy. In reality, it's not all fun and games, and there are difficult times, but we have a strong desire to help everyone feel even just a little bit of happiness.
I get anxious when I have a lot to do, like singing and dancing, but at times like that I try not to rush, focus on the task at hand, and tackle each one one by one.
In order to continue growing, I strive to be "better tomorrow than I am today." I want to continue learning without giving up excuses like "I don't have time" or "It's pointless." I believe that if you study without creating barriers to your intellectual curiosity, the knowledge you gain will come in handy in unexpected situations.

■ Future dreams

I want to climb Mount Fuji! Someday I'd like to climb it with everyone in M!LK and see the best view in Japan.
Personally, I would like to get a weather forecaster license and try my hand at being a news anchor. As an actor, I have played mostly cheerful characters up until now, so I am interested in new genres such as roles with darker or hidden sides, or period dramas.

■Message to university students

They say that university is the "summer vacation of life," and looking back now, I feel the same way. It's a time when you can do anything you want, whether it's lazing around, studying, or having fun, so I hope you'll try lots of different things and spend your time meaningfully.
If you have a dream, try working backwards. If you're heading in the wrong direction, it's hard to get there. There must be a correct way to work hard, so I think imagining a roadmap to your dream is important in making it come true. Good luck!
