41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER ~Nomura Kota~
The 41st Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER was held at Saitama Super Arena on Saturday, September 6th, 2025.
The theme for this year's event is "BEYOND TOGETHER." Now that it has reached its 20th anniversary, TGC is embarking on the "next 20 years" of making a new impact on society through co-creation.
With autumn approaching, we spoke to actor Nomura Kota, one of the many stellar performers at Mynavi TGC 2025 A/W.

■ Fans and actors come together at TGC
I've been invited to TGC many times before, and I'm very grateful to be able to appear again this year. At first, my older brother, who is a model, taught me how to walk on the runway and I practiced, but recently I've been able to go without any special preparation. Of course, I still feel nervous before the show, but I've gotten used to it. My pre-show routine is to just roll my ears to reduce the swelling in my face (laughs).
The key point of this outfit is the long coat. It's rare to see a coat this long, so it's an outfit I really liked. As a model, I try to be conscious of walking with confidence and dignity in order to show off my fashion. After all, I want people to think I look cool in real life (laughs).
For me, TGC is like a class reunion. It's exciting because I don't often get a chance to meet my fans in person, and it's also fun to be reunited with people I've worked with in past productions. I'm always looking forward to TGC, wondering when it will be.
■Growing as a person through acting
I think that being an actor is a job that has a lot of influence. I'm really grateful when I see people who come to see me at fan events and cry, and I'm happy when I know through ego-searching that I've given someone energy. I love being praised, so when I receive good comments, I try to improve on that.
The rewarding thing about this job is that, in addition to living my daily life as "Nomura Kota," I get to learn emotions that I can only get from my roles. I feel like I can grow as a person because I get to experience different lives and absorb the good points of many people, including other actors and staff. I felt this especially when I appeared in "Until I Destroy My Husband's Family," starring Matsumoto Marika, last year. Matsumoto poured 100% of her emotions into her, so I was able to accept that and be pulled along to express my own emotions, which gave me a sense of what acting is like. It also helped me gain confidence.
■ Aiming to become the actor I admire
In the future, I'd like to become more famous and popular. I also like watching romantic comedies, so I'd like to try my hand at romance movies and coming-of-age stories. The actors I admire are Masaki Suda, who inspired me to become an actor, and Kento Yamazaki. Suda recently had a strong presence in "Glass Heart." I'd like to be able to create that "slightly different" vibe, where the tension rises the moment he appears. I like Yamazaki not only for his acting and action scenes, but also for his unpretentious appearance on variety shows, and I'd like to be able to be that natural and be invited to appear in various media outlets.
■Message to university students
Enjoy the things you can only do now as a student. I know studying and job hunting are tough, but you can go to karaoke, amusement parks, and other places where you can get a student discount (laughs). Also, don't forget to be grateful and confident in everything you do. I think I've been able to climb the ladder thanks to the support of the staff, so I hope you'll be grateful for the support you receive from those around you and do your best with confidence.
