"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tears of the Blue Sea" Completion Preview Screening

"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime," commonly known as "Tensei Slime," is an alternate world fantasy in which Rimuru Tempest, a former office worker who is reincarnated as a slime, strives with his friends to create an ideal country. Since its serialization on the web novel submission site "Let's Become a Novelist," the series has captivated many fans with its charming characters and well-crafted storyline, with a total of 5,600 million copies published and the anime series viewed over 30 billion times! This is the second film in the hugely popular reincarnation entertainment series "Tensei Slime," which has surpassed 10 billion views on "Let's Become a Novelist.""That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tears of the Blue Sea"will be released on Friday, February 27th.
The premiere screening of the film was held in Tokyo on January 21st, and the stage greeting featured Okazaki Miho, who voices the main character Rimuru Tempest, Tomari Asuna, who plays Gobta, one of the Four Heavenly Kings who serves Rimuru, Onishi Saori, who plays Yura, a character original to the film and a shrine maiden from the underwater kingdom of Kaien, Domoto Koichi, who plays Zodon, the minister of Kaien who holds the key to the story, Kosaka Nao (Hinatazaka46), who plays Mio, a maid who follows Yura, and Fujishima Kaho (Hinatazaka46), who plays Yori, another maid of Yura.
■ Miho Okazaki, who plays Rimuru

Rimuru was acting the same as usual in a good way, but the people around him weren't acting the same as usual, so contrary to his typical Rimuru style of carefully watching the new characters and making his move at the right moment, there were also moments when I wondered, "Is that the master?" I think you'll be able to see both a goofy and a cool Rimuru. He'll also use a new technique. Look forward to it!
With the addition of the new Slime family, I really felt that many new audiences will be discovering Slime. The fourth season of the anime will start on TV in April. I'm very happy that we'll be able to release the second movie at this timing, and I'm confident that it's a story that can be delivered with confidence, so please enjoy it without worry.
■ Asuna Tomari as Gobuta
Gobuta is usually a very playful character, but there were a lot of cool scenes in the movie, so during the dubbing I was sweating profusely and nervous, thinking, "This isn't the usual Gobuta!" (laughs).
I never expected to be bombarded with such amazing images and sounds on a big screen, so I wanted to watch it again, remembering the excitement I felt during the dubbing. Gobuta will be playing an active role this time, so I hope you'll cheer him on, and the music is just amazing, so I hope you'll surrender yourself to it and immerse yourself in the story with him.
As a Tensura fan, I too have been looking forward to this film. I am truly happy to be able to be involved in it again as GobtaAh. I hope that everyone will fully immerse themselves in the world of the film and enjoy it.

■ Yura: Saori Onishi

The character I played, Yura, is a shrine maiden in the Kingdom of Kaien, where the story takes place, and Rimuru and his friends meet her when they go on vacation. As she is one of the key characters in this work, I can't say much about her, but I hope you can get a feel for Yura's character. I also participated in the character song. I usually sing catchy, pop songs, but in this work I play a shrine maiden, so I sang with a sacred feeling. So I hope you can feel a freshness that is different from the usual atmosphere.
We each brought our love for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime to the set and completed this film, so I hope that everyone will bring their love for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime to the theater and enjoy the movie.
Koichi Domoto as Zodon
The overwhelming number of media outlets at this premiere screening made me realize just how popular the film is. I was truly honored to be able to take part in such a popular film, and was surprised when I first heard about it. I believe there are many people who have loved this film for a long time, so I felt a lot of pressure and focused on my role, trying not to be disrespectful.
As a participant, I thought about how I should approach the role while I was acting, but it turned out to be a truly wonderful production. It's fun, refreshing, a little sad, I think it contains all sorts of emotions. I hope that you will be able to experience the power that only a theatrical version can have at the cinema.

■ Nao Kosaka as Mio

Mio plays the role of Lady Yura's maid, and although she has a gentle aura, she is a character who is kind and has a strong core as a maid.
I like the voice of Fujishima, who is in the same group as me, and he is very good at adding inflection to his voice, so I was happy to be able to work with him.We were able to push each other forward during the dubbing, so it was a wonderful experience.
I've been a big fan of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime for a long time, so I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful production that it still feels like a dream. It was my first time trying my hand at voice acting, so I was very nervous, but my dream of working as a voice actor has come true, so it was a very happy time. It's an epic story, so I hope everyone will enjoy the world of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime on the big screen.
■Yori role: Kaho Fujishima
Yori is a maid to Lady Yura and is often with Mio, but she gives off a relatively energetic and lively impression, so I played her like a younger sister.
It was my first time to receive an acting job on my own, so I was nervous and anxious, but I was working with my senior, Kosaka-san, and when I was chosen to appear, the fans and members congratulated me, which made my heart warm.
I am truly happy to have had the opportunity to be involved in such a wonderful production. It is an original story, so I think that both fans of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and beginners alike will enjoy it.
