The stage play "Twenty-Five Billion Second Trip" is a story about "living" written and directed by Ryuji Sato.

"Twenty-Five Billion Second Trip" opened at the Tennozu Galaxy Theater on January 30, 2026.
Ryuji Sato is an actor, singer, and producer who continues to be active in many fields. After two and a half years of preparation for "Castor and Pollux," which he wrote and directed and which was performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in 2023, "Twenty-Five Billion Second Trip" will now be performed.
The lead role of Orihara Hajime in this production will be played by Tomoki Saotome, who made his stage debut in 1997 at the age of one and a half and has since built a career as a leading actor for the Suzaku Theater Company, appearing in Gekidan Shinkansen's "Ao no Ran" at the age of 17, and has continued to appear in numerous popular productions since then.
Also appearing in the film are cast members with close ties to Sato!!
The mysterious Smile will be played by Tamura Shin, who has expanded his range of work, primarily in 2.5D stage productions, including his role as Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki in the musical "Touken Ranbu." Shiratori Gaku, Orihara's friend who is invited to another world in the multiverse along with Orihara, will be played by Fukui Tomoe, a member of the boy band "UNiFY" who also works as an actor. Sato, Yamada, and Akimoto are three characters that Orihara meets in the other world. They will be played by Kyonori Kazuku, who gained attention on the popular romance TV show "Love in a Romance Drama," and has a wide range of acting, from straight plays to recitals; Sadamoto Fuuma, who has appeared in a succession of popular 2.5D stage productions and has recently expanded his activities to films, TV dramas, and other visual media; and Kosaka Ryotaro, who takes advantage of his tall stature to work as a model while also appearing in a number of popular productions, primarily on stage.
Furthermore, Soma and Kashima will be involved with Hoshina, played by Matsuda, and will disrupt her fate. Soma will be played by Takagi Shun, who has participated in numerous works as a unique actor and is active in a wide range of fields, including as a voice actor, and Kashima will be played by Uekiya Satoshi, who has appeared in video works such as "HiGH & LOW THE WORST X" and is also active as a designer, holding art exhibitions.
Ryo Matsuda, who has been active in a wide range of genres, including the films "Maidore" and "Three Gnossiennes," as well as stage plays and musicals, will play Haruka Hoshina, who holds the key to the story. Furthermore, Ryuji Sato will play Reiji Kurono, the mysterious man who invites Orihara into the multiverse.
We were able to cover the public dress rehearsal that took place on January 29th, prior to the opening day.

A story that reaches people who are currently at a standstill - A student's theater report

The use of sets in the production was very impressive, and exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just for the sake of being flashy, but each and every one of them was packed with meaning and was connected to the story and the emotions of the characters.
Above all, each and every word was very powerful and left a lasting impression on me. The lines of the characters were not only directed at someone in the story, but also seemed to be spoken to me as a viewer. It may sound a bit cliché, but it made me truly realize that we need to live each and every day to the fullest.
In fact, after watching this play, the way I spend my time has changed.
I feel that this play should be seen by people who are simply wasting their time or who are suffering and troubled by something, including myself. When you feel like doing nothing, just remember this play and it will get you moving. There is sure to be a line in some scene that is just for you. I believe this play has lines for you that will support you in times of difficulty.
