The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER ~Noa Tsurushima~

The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER (hereinafter, Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S) was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium First Gymnasium.
This year's theme is "OUR CANVAS." Everyone involved in TGC will add their own colors to this vast canvas that is TGC. The individuality and creativity of each person intertwine to create a magnificent work of art, a one-of-a-kind story.
As spring arrived, we spoke with Noa Tsurushima, a model, actress, and fashion producer, from among the diverse and glamorous performers at Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S.

■ "TGC" is an important place where I feel a sense of responsibility.

For me, who started my entertainment career as a model, appearing at TGC (Tokyo Girls Collection) was something I longed for and dreamed of. When my dream came true, I was incredibly nervous. As TGC approaches, it makes me feel more focused each time, and at the same time, it's a very important place for me that reminds me to keep working hard as a model.
Leading up to the stage, I made an effort to improve my diet, increase my Pilates sessions to 2-3 times a week, and walk 5-6 kilometers a day, starting two weeks prior to the performance.
I usually wear more extravagant outfits at fashion shows, but this time I've gone for a more feminine and approachable style that's relatively easy to imitate. I hope that viewers will be inspired and think, "I want to wear clothes like that."

■ Exploring the meaning of being "Noa Tsurushima"

I do a variety of work, including modeling, acting, and producing. What I always keep in mind is to find "the meaning of being Noa Tsurushima" and "the reason why it has to be me." I want to clearly understand why I was entrusted with the task and deliver an expression that only I can provide to the audience. I also want to work hard so that the staff who have commissioned me feel that "it was good that they asked me."
To that end, I prioritize deepening my self-understanding in my daily life. I don't just think about it when I'm about to say something, but I constantly ask myself, "Who am I, Noa Tsurushima?" I try to understand myself more deeply by embracing the things I like and dislike that I discover in my daily life.
Understanding yourself helps you know how to recover from ups and downs in life. It also allows you to explore how to answer questions in situations like interviews in a way that is most true to yourself and ideal. This accumulation of self-understanding has also reduced the amount of regret I feel about what I say in conversations with friends. Ultimately, I want to be the person who understands themselves best. That's why I value self-understanding.

■Message to university students

Unlike when you were in middle school or high school, this time of year is a stage where you explore various things as you take a step towards becoming a working adult, such as figuring out "what your place is" in communities and relationships outside of academics.
Above all, what I want you to cherish most is knowing what excites you and what you love. That feeling of "liking" something will surely lead to your future dreams and your life.
I believe university life is a wonderful time to discover what is truly important in your life. I hope you cherish that time, never forget to be grateful to those around you who care for you, and live each day happily.
I'm rooting for all of you. Good luck!
