The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER ~Meari Hayashi~

The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER (hereinafter, Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S) was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium First Gymnasium.
This year's theme is "OUR CANVAS." Everyone involved in TGC will add their own colors to this vast canvas that is TGC. The individuality and creativity of each person intertwine to create a magnificent work of art, a one-of-a-kind story.
We spoke with model and actress Meari Hayashi, one of the many talented performers at Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S, which took place with the arrival of spring.

■Thoughts on "TGC"

I feel that TGC is a special day where sparkling moments continue. Besides fashion, there are many ways to enjoy it, such as live performances by artists, making it a truly memorable experience.
This outfit features a very short skirt, and I don't usually wear anything this short myself. I don't often wear boots in spring and summer, but I think the styling of pairing a mini skirt with boots is very trendy right now. I also did my makeup to match the outfit, so it was a very fresh experience for me.
Leading up to this day, I've been doing one-on-one Pilates, focusing on a low-sodium diet, and sweating it out thoroughly in a hot stone sauna the day before to get myself in top condition.

■ Don't forget to be grateful to those around you

I always try to remember to be grateful as I go about my life. This job is never something I can do alone. Whether it's modeling or acting, no job can be done by one person alone, so I always cherish my gratitude to the people around me who support me. I naturally feel like saying "thank you."
While this job often involves worrying and contemplating, I feel that one of its appealing aspects is the opportunity to reflect on myself and get to know myself better, including through interviews like this one. I'm happy to be able to feel even small changes.
And the support from my fans is what motivates me the most. I will continue to work hard so that I can meet my fans again in the future.

■I want to show a different side of myself than before.

I think I'll be facing more situations where I have to make my own decisions from now on, so while I want to face those decisions head-on, I also want to remember that it's important to rely on others from time to time. I think it would be good not only for myself, but also for people of my generation, to have someone or a place that they can rely on. While finding such a place to rely on, I want to continue challenging myself so that I can show a different side of myself than before.
As an actor, I haven't had many opportunities recently to appear in school-themed dramas with a large cast of students, but I feel that taking on challenges in dramas and movies with people my own age would be a great source of inspiration and growth for me.

■Message to university students

While there will undoubtedly be many enjoyable moments, there will also be times when you have to make your own choices and face many challenges. If you ever feel distressed or overwhelmed, please remember to rely on people you can depend on, such as friends and family. Don't push yourself too hard, and take care of yourself.
And I hope you'll fully enjoy your youth, something you can only experience while you're a university student.
