The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER ~Soya Kurokawa~
The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER (hereinafter, Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S) was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium First Gymnasium.
This year's theme is "OUR CANVAS." Everyone involved in TGC will add their own colors to this vast canvas that is TGC. The individuality and creativity of each person intertwine to create a magnificent work of art, a one-of-a-kind story.
We spoke with actor Soya Kurokawa, one of the many talented performers at Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S, which took place with the arrival of spring.

About TGC
This was my first time at TGC, and I had the opportunity to appear on the "Mynavi STAGE." The web commercial I appeared in was shown on stage, and it reminded me of my own graduation ceremony. When it was decided that I would be appearing at TGC, I felt a little anxious, thinking, "This is crazy," but I was very happy to be involved in the stage of Mynavi, a company that I've been indebted to.
The key point of this outfit is the layering of a blue shirt, inspired by Mynavi Blue. I also felt that the embroidered design on the school uniform jacket worn over it was one of its charms. At first glance, it looks like a fashionable black jacket, but upon closer inspection, you can see that it's actually a school uniform jacket, which I think is a unique touch that only Mynavi STAGE costumes can offer.
■ How "acting" changes me
I believe the appeal of acting lies in the opportunity to encounter emotions you didn't know you had, and to experience moments that can only be gained through playing a role. While acting, I sometimes feel sadness and anxiety, but I also feel that these negative emotions are sublimated into energy. I feel that this transformation of my own emotions is what makes acting a rewarding and enjoyable job. I think I started to feel this way around the time I participated in the film "Monster." Rather than systematically learning to laugh because the protagonist is happy in a particular scene, I feel that I acquired this feeling intuitively through working on the project with various people, observing the atmosphere around me, and naturally interacting with my co-stars. "Monster" was one of the turning points for me, and I believe it was the catalyst that made acting even more enjoyable.
■Things I want to challenge myself with in order to realize my dreams
Since I'm only 16, it's difficult for me to play roles like doctors or police officers, but I'd like to try someday. To that end, I want to approach each job I'm given with care and attention. I believe that by gaining various experiences, I'll be able to see what I truly want to do, so I want to actively challenge myself with what I can do now while enjoying the process.
■Message to students
Spring is a time of new beginnings, such as starting a new school year or moving up a grade, so you may feel both excitement and anxiety about the changes in your environment. Even amidst these feelings, let's enjoy ourselves and do our best together.
