The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER ~CORTIS~
The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER (hereinafter, Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S) was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium First Gymnasium.
This year's theme is "OUR CANVAS." Everyone involved in TGC will add their own colors to the vast canvas that is TGC. The individuality and creativity of each person intertwine to paint a magnificent art piece, creating a one-of-a-kind story.
As spring arrived, I had the opportunity to participate in a press conference for the five-member boy group CORTIS, one of the many talented performers at Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S.

The group consists of five members: MARTIN, JAMES, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON, and KEONHO.
This group debuted under Big Hit Music, a prestigious boy group label that also manages BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

■ Shining brightly at the coveted TGC
Standing on the stage of the Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC), one of the largest fashion festivals in history, they made a big dream a reality. Regarding this grand stage where fashion and music perfectly merge, MARTIN and JUHOON expressed their deep respect for the stage, saying, "We are truly honored to be able to come to an event that is so closely intertwined with such important fashion culture. We ourselves have a very strong interest in fashion, so we were looking forward to it from the moment we found out we would be performing."
■New song born from words: "YOUNGCREATORCREW"
The biggest talking point of this performance was "YOUNGCREATORCREW," a track from their 2nd EP. This song was born in a surprisingly natural way. The words "Young Creator Crew," given to them by the media on their debut day, were deeply etched in the members' minds, and that memory suddenly resurfaced during the session, which became the catalyst for the song.
This song, which they said they "created on the spot through freestyle," is a concentrated expression of their unique humor and energy. With the passionate desire to "give our best right now and hope you look forward to this song," they delivered a new, creative sound to their Japanese fans.
■ Small wishes I want to fulfill in Japan
When the conversation turned to what he was looking forward to during his stay in Japan, SEONGHYEON showed a boyish expression and said, "I definitely want to eat sukiyaki again, which I had last time." He also revealed a charming, down-to-earth "small wish": that he would like to travel to Sapporo someday.
■ What is the goal of "CORTIS"?
"It's been less than a year since our debut, so our goal is to make the name 'CORTIS' and our music known to as many people as possible," JUHOON declares emphatically. As the next step towards that big goal, the title track will be released in advance on April 20th, and The 2nd EP is scheduled for release on May 4th.
They expressed their determination, saying, "We want to continue discovering our own unique style."
