The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER ~Kohei Higuchi~
The 42nd Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection 2026 SPRING/SUMMER (hereinafter, Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S) was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium First Gymnasium.
This year's theme is "OUR CANVAS." Everyone involved in TGC will add their own colors to the vast canvas that is TGC. The individuality and creativity of each person intertwine to paint a magnificent art piece, creating a one-of-a-kind story.
We spoke with actor Kohei Higuchi, one of the many talented performers at Mynavi TGC 2026 S/S, which took place with the arrival of spring.

■About appearing at TGC
For me, TGC is a special place. It's a place where I can show a side of myself that I don't usually show to my fans and the audience, and it's also a place where I can reunite with friends and colleagues after a long time. I think it's a very valuable event where I can get a lot of inspiration from my colleagues and the audience, not just have fun.
The key point of this outfit is that the whole look is in white tones. I like how the wide-shouldered, oversized jacket makes the whole look more streamlined. Another key point is the yellow floral shirt I added as an accent. I think the touch of yellow makes the outfit feel even more refreshing.
■ The appeal of acting
I always feel a great sense of accomplishment when a project wraps up. This feeling is especially strong for projects that have taken a long time to create. I think this is because, in playing a role, I have sincerely engaged with that character and continuously thought about "how that character lived."
When I'm playing a role, I always think about "how would I act in that situation?" and try to reconcile the character with myself. Of course, there are parts that are different from myself and parts that I can't fully understand right away. Even so, as I get to know the character more deeply, I start to see things, and by adding a little bit of my own elements to that, I think that's how "the meaning of me playing this role" comes about. That's why I also value thinking from my own perspective.
Furthermore, confronting a role is connected to what I find so appealing about acting. To act, you need to deeply understand that character. In that process, you learn various things related to the character, such as their occupation and background, and your own knowledge and experience expand with each project you work on. The more work you do, the more you feel that you are growing as a person, which is very enjoyable and what I feel is the real charm of being an actor.
■Message to university students
The time you spend as a student is invaluable, so I hope you'll have a variety of experiences. Studying, hanging out with friends, falling in love, arguing with your parents... I personally believe that the more experiences you have, the more you grow as a person. I hope you'll actively try things that interest you and enjoy your student life to the fullest.
