6th Student Newspaper Film Awards

<About the 6rd Student Newspaper Film Awards>

From July 1st to December 31st, 2025, 200 university students will vote on theatrical feature films of 60 minutes or longer that premiered in the Tokyo area for a fee and were screened for at least two consecutive weeks in the same theater. Six awards will be given to the top three Japanese films out of 10, and to the top two foreign films out of 5: Best Actor (2 slots), Best Actress (2 slots), Best Young Actor (1 male and 1 female under 25), Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Theme Song (Best Music). The total prize money is 3 million yen (1 million yen for each winning film).
