While retaining the charm of the comical and fast-paced slapstick comedy that has been loved throughout the series, the story kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end as the fate of the compass, which holds the key to the plot, changes the state of the world across 300 years. I was captivated by the way the past and present intertwined!
Furthermore, the lighthearted action unique to animation and the humorous direction that will make you laugh are also major attractions of this film. Tom and Jerry's perfectly timed banter livens up the entire film and gives it a refreshing feel! We highly recommend you experience the scale of this story for yourself.

Despite being fully CG, there is absolutely no sense of incongruity, and Tom and Jerry's banter is expressed with comical yet stunning visuals that will have you glued to the screen. In addition to their usual slapstick antics, their adventures on an unprecedented scale in this other world are truly exciting. The unique worldview and the charming original characters, including the Phoenix Immortal, are surely what you would expect from a US-China co-production. It's a 100-minute film that blends familiar slapstick with unprecedented adventure, keeping you glued to the screen the entire time.

The theme of this film is the "compass," and the conflict surrounding it is the highlight. I was captivated by the unfolding story many times. Tom and Jerry are adorable, and the scene where Tom walks with his chest puffed out to rescue Jerry is funny; I couldn't help but laugh.
Furthermore, the personalities of the characters, including Tom and Jerry, are fascinating, making it a film I would want to watch again and again. This movie has a different kind of charm than previous installments, and I think it's a film that can be thoroughly enjoyed not only by those who have seen the series before, but also by those watching it for the first time.

This is the story of Tom, a museum security guard, who, after a chase with Jerry, activates an ancient treasure and is transported thousands of years into the past to the "Golden City." The city, depicted entirely in CG for the first time in the series, is beautifully rendered down to the smallest detail of the temples, moats, and lakes, and I was constantly overwhelmed by the realism of the two characters' fur and expressive faces. Because there is no dialogue, the charm of the two characters is conveyed only through their movements, and it is heartwarming to see Tom mistaken for the "Cat God" and to see them fighting together to thwart the ambitions of the Rat King. It truly shows their "friendly bickering" and reaffirms the strong bond between the two, who realize that life would be boring without each other. This is an adventure that will make people of all ages laugh and feel refreshed, making it the perfect movie for this summer.

Many people have seen Tom and Jerry at least once in their childhood, but in this movie, we get to see the usual duo, but in a very cool way. They can't speak, but their emotions are conveyed powerfully through their expressive faces and catchy sound effects.
I was deeply moved by how each character grew through the commotion surrounding the "Star Compass" in a grander scale than typical cartoons. Of course, the characters other than Tom and Jerry were also very charming and full of humanity. Although Tom and Jerry are usually always fighting, they solve various crises with their teamwork, making it a movie that naturally brings a smile to your face.

The image of Tom and Jerry, with Jerry toying with Tom despite his small size, and Tom chasing after him, is memorable. They appear both like "enemies" and like "friends" who are so close they fight all the time. In this movie, they fight like "enemies." However, in order to return the time-traveling compass to their friends, Tom and Jerry fight as "friends." They are like close brothers. Please enjoy Tom and Jerry's thrilling adventure while relating it to the people close to you.
